I couldn't have asked for more. Harolds Upholstery did a complete restoration of my bugs interior. Headliner, carpet(s), seats, padding, door panels, and even window installation. Not a single scratch, tear or fold in any piece. All my seams are perfect and I can't recommend this shop enough. You will only deal with knowledgeable professionals, and the prices are certainly reasonable. They say you get what you pay for, but in this case, I got way more than I paid for. A perfect interior, exactly the way I wanted it, for half the price as the competition. They will not cut corners on any phase of your installation; completely satisfied from start to finish.

Harold's Upholstery has done excellent work on two cards for me. On one (1971 Mercedes), they repaired leather, installed new seat panels, and did a new headliner (with sunroof). On a 1963 Jaguar, they re-dyed the entire interior so that all panels and seats matched. Very professional, good prices, and excellent quality. Nice to deal with.

Simply the best; they replaced the convertible window on my '94 Miata. Wow what a job. Price was very reasonable and the job was finished in one day, with no appointment. Even drove me back to my house after I received the estimate. So satisfied I'm going to take it back to repair a ripped seam, and my other MX-5 will be heading down to the shop for new seat covers (love Miatas). Don't hesitate to take your classic or your junker down.

I was recommended to Harold's Upholstery by a shop that details my car, and I'm thankful for the referral. I have a BMW 330ci with black leather seats, and the stitching became undone on one of them. I took my car to Harold's and he took care of it beautifully. He treated the entire seat with a high-end leather conditioner/cleaner to loosen up the leather, so that it could be restitched without breaking. He and his assistant did a very nice job for a reasonable price.

This shop provides for a nice customer-focused experience, unlike the impersonal assembly-line experience you get at a large establishment. In short, I definitely recommend Harold's Auto Upholstery.

Outstanding craftsmanship at a great price. I spent about a month and a half looking for just the right upholstery firm to refinish the interior of my classic Corvette. I took my time and got six estimates. I ended up choosing Harold's, partly because they've been around since the 1940's (that really says something), but also because they took the time to give me some great advice.

It was the absolute best decision I've made with regard to my entire car restoration project. These folks made my car look incredible. I have never seen such attention to detail, and the price was very good. Plus, they finished everything right on time, just as promised.

Frankly, it is so rare to find this type of workmanship for the price in the Bay Area, so this was a wonderful experience.

I highly recommend Harold's Auto Upholstery. If you want real craftsmanship, this is the place for you.
